This Thursday, from 5-7 PM, a very special event is taking place, and you’re invited! Left Bank Cidery, known for its community spirit, hosts a delightful “Soup Night” every week. Patrons enjoy homemade soup for a suggested donation of $5-$20 per bowl. This isn’t just about delicious soup, though; it’s a gathering that strengthens community bonds and supports local nonprofits.
And guess what? This week, the spotlight is on us! The proceeds from Soup Night are generously being donated to the Friends of the Catskill Public Library and Palenville Branch, Inc. How incredible is that?
But there’s more! Our very own Friends Group board members are rolling up their sleeves to make the soup for the event. Rob Spillman, a dear supporter, suggested our Friends Group as this week’s charity recipient.
Come for the soup, stay for the ambiance, and bask in the joy of community gathering. Left Bank Cidery, located on Water Street in Catskill (with plenty of parking in the Municipal lot), promises an evening filled with warmth and camaraderie.
We’ll also have some library information available. It’s a perfect chance to learn about the Friends Group and Library, show your support, and connect with fellow library and community enthusiasts. Feel free to bring your family, friends, neighbors, and even your own bowl!
The proceeds from the evening will be the starter funds for getting the Friends of Catskill Public Library and Palenville Branch, Inc.’s bank account off the ground!
