The Catskill Public Library has an immediate opening for a Full Time Library Director.
Built in 1901 by Andrew Carnegie and located within the village of Catskill, NY, our Main Branch serves residents from the village and town of Catskill. Our Palenville Branch, located in the hamlet of Palenville, NY, serves residents within the hamlet and neighboring communities.
Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold a Master of Library Science or a Masters of Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program. In addition, four to six years of experience as a librarian in a Public Library setting, several of these in administration/management. This is a Civil Service position.
