The Catskill Public Library and Palenville Branch Library will both be participating in the Great Give Back 2023 with their fellow Greene County Libraries.
The Great Give Back is a community service initiative created to provide meaningful, service-oriented experiences to patrons. It is celebrated annually by public libraries across New York State.
Catskill and Palenville community members are invited to donate food and hygiene products to either library from September 21st through October 21st. The libraries will then bring the items to local food banks that serve residents of the Catskill Central School Distract.
Some suggested items include: rice, pasta, cereal, pancake mix, canned foods of all kinds, toiletries, hygiene, and menstrual products.
