Mid-Hudson Library System cardholders have the ability to borrow Museum Passes, which provide free access to several museums in Columbia and Greene counties.
Museum Passes may be borrowed from the circulation desk at the Palenville Branch Library and the Main Floor circulation desk at the Catskill Public Library on a first-come, first-served basis.
The lending period for each pass is three days. A late fee of $5.00 will be applied to the borrowing patron’s account for every day the museum pass is not returned. After five days the museum pass is considered ‘lost’ and the borrowing patron will be billed the total replacement cost posted on the pass.
Patrons should always call ahead to the museums for special rules and inform the museum that they will be using a library pass!
