During 2022 National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) the Catskill Public Library is participating in the Young Writers Program (YWP) to encourage our middle and high school aged patrons to stretch their creative writing muscles!
Every Wednesday from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM* join us in the Youth Room for an hour of writing together! Join our virtual classroom or write by hand and work toward your writing goal. The 2022 CPL Young Writers Program theme is Community. Writing prompts, games, and snacks will be provided. Sharing work is encouraged but not required.
Participants must be 11-17 years old and have a signed internet permission form to access the virtual classroom. Access to virtual classroom is not required to participate in the CPL Young Writers Program.
To access the CPL virtual classroom:
- Download & read the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program Family Letter.
- Download, sign & return the YWP Parent/Guardian Permission Form.
- ‘Sign Up’ at https://ywp.nanowrimo.org/ at home or in the library! The CPL classroom code will be provided after the YWP Parent/Guardian Permission Form is submitted.
